PARKING AND DIRECTIONS:
All participant Parking Fees have been waived by the City of Oceanside.
Participants coming from Orange County or Hwy 76 please arrive via Coast Hwy and turn right at Surfrider Way.
After 6:30 AM please exit at Mission Ave.
I-5 exit Mission Ave or Oceanside Blvd.
Exit W/B Mission Ave. Park in lots east of Coast Hwy, and north and south of Mission.
Exit W/B Oceanside Blvd. and turn right at Tremont St. or Pacific St.
Take Tremont north to Topeka St., make a left into parking structure at corner of Topeka and Cleveland.
Take Pacific to Wisconsin to Myers
RECOMMENDED 5-MILE PARKING:
Please arrive and park before 6:30 a.m. Due to street closures, we ask 5-mile participants to park north of Sportfisher in parking lots and street parking. Please note: Coast Hwy will be closed from Oceanside Blvd. to Surfrider on race morning.
Road Closures on Thanksgiving Morning: Thursday, November 25, 2010
5 AM until 9 AM
South Coast Hwy. between Mission and Sportfisher: Please detour northbound & southbound using S. Ditmar.
6 AM until 9 AM
South Coast Hwy. between Oceanside Blvd. and Sportfisher: Please detour N/B & S/B using S. Ditmar or Horne St.
6:30 AM until 9 AM
Mission from Horne to Pacific Street: Eastbound and Westbound drivers use Surfrider or Seagaze.
6:30 AM until 11 AM
Pacific Street from Civic Center Drive to Wisconsin: Use Myers
Southbound Strand will remain open but will be monitored at Wisconsin to exit.
7:00 AM until 7:45 AM
Southbound Coast Hwy. between Sportfisher and Monterey Dr.: Northbound lanes will remain open.
7:15 AM until 8 AM
Westbound Monterey Dr/San Luis Rey Dr/Riverside Dr: will be closed. Monitors will direct traffic through eastbound lanes and in/out of businesses.
Westbound S. Harbor Drive to Pacific St. will be closed. Monitors will direct traffic through eastbound lane and in/out of businesses.
Southbound Pacific St. to Breakwater Way will be closed. Monitors will direct traffic through Northbound lane and in/out of businesses.
